Cubing is the act of solving a Rubik’s Cube quickly, but the dilemma for the makers of the iconic puzzle is that no one uses the original to compete anymore.

The original Rubik’s cube twists and turns too slowly for competitive cubers who can solve the puzzle in 10 seconds or less.

And although the reclusive Hungarian inventor of the Rubik’s Cube, Erno Rubik, is said to be working on a faster version, it’s nowhere near production.
